Join us to help out Baby Cheyenne Brown and her family! She was born to Brandi & Raymond Brown on September 2, 2015 with a rare disorder called VACTERL Syndrome. She had to spend her first 90 days in the hospital. She came home for Christmas & had to return for surgery. Going forward, she will continually require medical attention. The proceeds from the benefit will go to the family to help with medical bills & expenses related to Cheyenne's disorder. (Keep reading below for more information about Cheyenne.)
Singer/Songwriter & Country Music Regional Artist, Robby Hopkins will perform at the benefit. Hopkins has opened for Craig Morgan, Aaron Tippin, Randy Houser, Gene Watson, Travis Tritt, Lauren Alaina & more. For the past few years, he has headlined the 1890's Day Festival in Ringgold, GA.
Other activities at the benefit include: Chili Supper, Live Auction (gift cards, donated items, etc.), Baked Goods, T-Shirts & More!
The benefit will be held at Ringgold Primary School Cafeteria. The school is located just off Highway 151 in Ringgold, GA. Address is: 304 Evitt Lane, Ringgold, GA. Directions: From I-75, turn onto GA 151 South for .4 miles, Bear Right onto Poplar Springs Road, Drive .8 miles, Turn left onto Evitt Lane.
More Information about Cheyenne's disorder: VACTERL Each letter in VACTERL represents the first letter of its common symptoms. Not all children affected by VACTERL association have all of these abnormalities. • V stands for vertebrae (bones of the spine), which are abnormal • A stands for anal atresia or imperforate anus, meaning an anus that does not open to the outside of the body • C stands for cardiac (heart) defects, usually an abnormal hole between parts of the heart (ventricular septal defect or atrial septal defect) • T stands for tracheoesophageal fistula, meaning an abnormal connection between the trachea (windpipe) and the esophagus (the food tube to the stomach) • E stands for esophageal atresia, meaning the esophagus does not connect to the stomach • R stands for renal (kidney) defects • L stands for limb (arm) defects such as absent or displaced thumbs, extra fingers (polydactyly), fused fingers (syndactyly), or a missing bone in the arms or legs
