The first of monthly showcases for singer/songwriters offered by the Acworth Cultural Arts Center and the Smoky Mountain Songwriters Festival. This first event includes 6 writers - #1 Hit Writer from Nashville, TN - Gerald Smith; Nashville Rising Star Winner, Robby Hopkins, has opened shows for Randy Houser, Lauren Alaina, Craig Morgan, Gene Watson, Aaron Tippin and Travis Tritt; Poverty Level - duo with J.D. Hopkins and Phillip Bridges bringing their own "amerikinda" music; Jim Haigler - known for lyrics, harmony, and great picking; Katie Martin with her unique bluesy singing and playing ...a local staple; and 14 year old Mackie Grey who has opened for Suburban Camouflage, Don Felder, Foreigner and Styx and will amaze! $7.00 Cover includes hors d'oeuvres specially prepared by Dogwood Terrace' chef; the bar will be open.
